Finally, after almost 3 months of working on its visual rework and almost 1 year since the game stopped its development. Princess Resort Is back. 

I would like to use Itch.io to write everything I need to explain about the game and what the future plans are.

(I think the most important part is at the end, where I talk about the future of the game. So if you don't want to read all the story, please check that part)

First, What happened to the development of the game?

The shortened version is this. Mainly we were 2 people making the game and the other person, got sick, and he was the one who got more people, programmers to help him, a translator, etc. Because he was hospitalized that made him think about his life and stuff. So he decided he didn't want to do this anymore.  And the rest of the people left with him. I really don't know them and I also don't know how many of them he was paying or if they helped him for being his friend. 
So, I was left alone, after all, the original idea and the art are mine. And for almost a year, I didn't work on the game, because there were several things I had to learn to do if I wanted to develop the game on my own. And after learning what is necessary to continue, approximately the month of July 2023. I resumed development

Second, why a visual rework?

Mainly because when we started making the game, we were very excited to get started, so a lot of the content and development dynamics were not the most optimal. The best example I can give you is the following: 
At first, each character had their own drawing for each outfit. Now I use only one drawing and that base changed the outfit. That is, the classic model that has been used in visual novels for years. This saves me a lot of time and makes content creation more efficient.

Third, what are the future plans?

We enter the most important part of the post. Where we will talk about the future of the game and the plans I have. 

First, for the game not to be canceled, I need a minimum support of $200 per month at Patreon.
And all the extra support that the game receives I will use to add more people to the project, mainly an expert programmer in Ren'py and a Translator. 
 How long do we have to reach this goal? Until the end of the year. During the remaining 3 months, I will dedicate myself to making the best update I can, by myself. Now, content development should be easier, since the core of the game, including sprites and Date Sim systems, are already more established.
However, there will be no more excuses if the game is not good enough to receive your support, So be it. After all the game is for all of you, The NSFW Gaming Community. And if you are the ones who decide that the game must die, I will be at peace, as long as I know that I did the best I could. I really have no intention of acting like a crybaby saying "But this other game looks so much worse than mine and has thousands of dollars of support"
